Biography
Jerry Franciscovich has had a highly successful career in the petroleum business. After graduating from OSU with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1952, he served as a pilot in the US Army Signal Corps. He joined Standard Oil Company of California in 1955. He held various marketing and management positions and was appointed president of Chevron Canada Limited in 1984, serving until his retirement in the early 1990's. He remained active with education throughout his career, having served on the Dean' s Advisory Council for the School of Commerce and Business Administration for the University of British Columbia, and the Advisory Board, Faculty of Business Administration for Simon Fraser University.
